Bx MPU with Battery Backup Upgrade - CMC Systems designed the Bx MPU board with increased productivity and higher accuracy in mind. The Bx MPU is a direct replacement printed circuit board for the Hurco Bx Series Controls. The Bx MPU utilizes advancements in technology to incorporate the main processing functions of Motorola's 6809 microprocessor and the RAM circuits onto one printed circuit board.

By combining the MPU and RAM onto a single printed circuit board, we reduce the number of components. Using fewer components often results in better reliability, which means less downtime and more productivity. Also, by keeping the MPU and RAM close together, we have greatly reduced the possibility of noise and other unwanted signals from interfering with command processing.

The 64K Ram located on the BxMPU is a major enhancement for two reasons. One reason is the RAM is connected to a Battery Backup circuit that allows RAM to maintain stored part programs in the event of main power interruption. This was done to help reduce downtime while waiting for the master to reload after power failure and/or job changes. The second reason is reduced chance of memory corruption due to circuit board design.

64K Battery Back Up Memory Upgrade - Tired of losing your master and part programs every time you have a power fluctuation? The 64K Battery Back Up Memory Upgrade should help eliminate this problem. With battery backup circuitry built right into the board it is easy to restart your master. All you have to do is turn on the machine, table 0, and enter your X and Y offsets and you are ready to go!!!

Spindle Drive Upgrade - CMC Systems offers complete, easy to install, spindle drive upgrade packages that come pre-wired and ready to install. They bolt directly in place using existing hardware. Put an end to downtime and spindle drive repairs. We feature EMS in our upgrade packages.

HurcoSave Professional 3.0

HurcoSave Professional 3.0 "32-Bit" Software is our latest software advance to add enhanced part programming for our Hurco owners that use Bx series controls. We have also incorporated a selectable Metric/Standard measurement feature to add the flexibility of producing parts in either mode for your shop. HurcoSave Professional 3.0 has an advantage over your current HurcoSave Standard in that you are now able to write, view, edit, print and save off-line part programs on your PC. These functions have never been available in such detail before now.

A program description file allows you to store customer information as well as job information for the machine operator. Set up notes along with the part program can be outputted to a printer for use on the shop floor. The program allows you to view the part program in the easy to understand Hurco data block format. HurcoSave Professional 3.0 converts fractional data blocks (.1) to whole data blocks giving you the ability to insert new fractional blocks as needed.

HurcoSave Professional 3.0 is also a communication program designed to enable bi-directional serial communication to the Hurco CNC milling machines that use Bx series controls. Both master and part programs can be transferred via RS-232 to a remote PC. HurcoSave Professional 3.0 is compatible with your existing PC serial port or the newer USB port assignments.

Using a PC to handle the file storage task allows for fast storage and retrieval of both master and part programs. HurcoSave Professional 3.0 also allows the user to designate file areas by customer to quickly access that program for production. HurcoSave Professional 3.0 "32-Bit" Software must be run with Windows 98 or higher.
